A heartwarming, peaceful tale of love found in unexpected ways that has such a happy ending, and shows the Lords provision and guidance, even when we least expect it.

This is a hilarious book. I love the connection to another book that this author has written. I’ve read mostly all of her books, and they’re all wonderful. Most make me laugh and sometimes cry which is always a good thing. Quincy and Priscilla are wonderful characters.

McAdoo created wonderful characters with this one, each telling their story so expertly, and I enjoyed watching their development throughout. Twists and turns kept me on my toes in this wonderful read.

A fun, good read. Set in the United States just after the war, this story has a wonderful plot and fantastic characters. I loved the original premise the author used. Christianity plays an important role in this book.
