A New Year – What Does Our Future Hold?

2020 turning to 2021 and Blessings for Love Peace and Joy from Caryl McAdoo

It’s hard to believe in my brain that it’s 2021!

I was born in 1950, y’all, and turning to the New Century in 2000 seemed as far as the world should go back then. Two thousand years from the creation of the world to Abraham, then two more thousand years to Jesus, and now two thousand years—plus twenty-one—until ??? He comes back again to cut the days short for the sake of the elect! Praises be the the King of Kings!

Never thought I’d see it, but here we are. Here I still am which means God’s plans for me—for you, too—aren’t done yet! I suppose that’s encouraging!

It’s human nature to want so many wonderful things for the New Year. Don’t you? Don’t we all hope for a better year than 2020? That’s what I’m seeing everywhere I turn. How about you?

Considering myself an encourager, I don’t like to ever be discouraging . . . but believing as I do—that the end of the age is upon us—I suspect things are only going to get worse in this new year, not better. The days I believe are upon us are sometimes called Days of Dread or Jacob’s Troubles. The Son of God said Himself—as reported by His disciple Matthew:
“For then shall be great tribulation, such as was not since the beginning of the world to this time, no, nor ever shall be. And except those days should be shortened, there should no flesh be saved: but for the elect’s sake those days shall be shortened.” Matthew 24:21-22
What are the most horrible days of history in your opinion? I’d think the days of Hitler when over six million Jews were murdered as well as many on the battlefields of World War Two who were trying to stop the maniac. All the wars, the War Between the States all the way back to the crusades. Can you think of any worse?

Riotous crowds and Scripture on the Tribulation from Caryl McAdoo

Our future days will be worse, such as the word has never seen. Those days are coming. That Scripture says “For then shall be the great tribulation” . . . then when? We have to back up, don’t we, to see what has to happen BEFORE He said that.
“And Jesus answered and said unto them [His disciples who just asked what the signs be of His coming and the end of the World would be], Take heed that no man deceive you.  For many shall come in my name, saying, I am Christ; and shall deceive many.  And ye shall hear of wars and rumors of wars: see that ye be not troubled: for all these things must come to pass, but the end is not yet.

For nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom: and there shall be famines, and pestilences, and earthquakes, in divers places. All these are the beginning of sorrows.

Then shall they deliver you up to be afflicted, and shall kill you: and ye shall be hated of all nations for my name’s sake.  And then shall many be offended, and shall betray one another, and shall hate one another. And many false prophets shall rise and shall deceive many.

And because iniquity shall abound, the love of many shall wax cold. But he that shall endure unto the end, the same shall be saved.

And this gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in all the world for a witness unto all nations; and then shall the end come.  When ye therefore shall see the abomination of desolation, spoken of by Daniel the prophet, stand in the holy place, (whoso readeth, let him understand.)”
Matthew 24:4-15

Wow, that sounds like these days we’re living now, doesn’t it? #EndTimes

I believe we will soon SEE the prophesies of God’s Word come to fulfillment: a seven-year peace treaty being signed in the Middle East, the third Jewish temple being built on the mount, sometime after that, the anti-Christ going to that temple and declaring he is God as Jesus Himself says we will see in verse 15.

As I see it, though there will be troubles and trials aplenty, it will be a glorious time for the Church—not the buildings and services we all know now—God’s Church, will be doing exactly as Christ said—the things He did here on earth and greater! It’s got to still be in our future, because it has never happened in all of history. It WILL come to pass.

WE WILL—as his Church, sick and perverted in need of purification today—will got through these hard days. He WILL purify us, remove all our stains and press out all the wrinkles during those awful days so that we may be ready when He comes for His bride.

WE WILL raise the dead, cause blind eyes to see, and the lame to walk. We will feed the masses, heal the sick, and walk on water! These miracles and greater ones—like the ones He performed when He walked the earth—will draw men to Him just as they did in His day! Remember the fields that are ripe for harvest? The Great Revival we’ve all heard about? That’s what we’ll be about!

Yes, the days will be hard, but they will also be glorious days for the Church. And think of this . .  . not all will die before He comes because those days He shortens for our sakes—we are “the elect.”
“Behold, I shew you a mystery; We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed.” 1 Corinthians 15:51
Hallelujah! Many of us will live through the tribulation to see these days! Glory!
“Immediately after the tribulation of those days shall the sun be darkened, and the moon shall not give her light, and the stars shall fall from heaven, and the powers of the heavens shall be shaken:  And then shall appear the sign of the Son of man in heaven [commonly known as the rapture] and then shall all the tribes of the earth mourn, and they shall see the Son of man coming in the clouds of heaven with power and great glory.  And he shall send his angels with a great sound of a trumpet, and they shall gather together his elect from the four winds, from one end of heaven to the other.” Matthew 24:29-31
After this, He speaks of the parable of the fig tree and then in the next chapter, the five virgins. He tells us to be ready because no one knows the day or the hour. Ah! And that is a whole ’nother awesome bit involving the Feast of Trumpets that I’ll have to get into another time. We won’t know the day or hour, but can we know the month, even the week?
Here’s what I hope you will see dear reader . . . God’s Words are True. Scriptures of Matthew herein are in red letters, indicating He Himself is talking. God’s Words never pass away or be in contradiction with each other. There is only One Truth. He is our Messiah, our Savior and Lord, God’s Beloved Son. Seek Truth . . . then you will be set free.

He said He would come again immediately after the tribulation, not before. Father didn’t save Noah out of the storm but saw him through it. Of course, we His people are not appointed to His wrath. We are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a peculiar people who shall show forth the praises of Him Who has called us out of darkness into His marvelous light!

We have so much to look forward to!

Dear Glorious God, our gracious and merciful Father, I love and adore You! Holy is Your Name! I pray in the name of Your Beloved Son Yeshua. Please open our hearts that Your Truth will be written and hidden there. Open our eyes to see Truth and our ears to hear Truth!

Prepare us oh, great God to lay down our traditions of men and protect us from all who would deceive us, Father. Cause me only to follow Your Word, Your Truth, Your Way so that Your Life will be my guide. Bless every reader, cause Your Kingdom to come, Father. Cause only Your Will to be done on earth as in Heaven. Thank You. There’s none like You!

Never let your love wax cold.
Are you prepared to go through these days of trouble?
